A Pokemon Celebration

Yay! I am officially girl of the week or something.  Here's what happened:

I was at robotics on Wednesday waiting for it to officially start. At the time we were having study hall and I had already completed most of the work I needed to do so I decided to take a break. I turned on my DS and started playing Pokemon sapphire. I was really enjoying myself when (yet again) I was caught by Mackenzie. This time he came to explore his "new Pokemon friend" and almost caught me with my absol who is named after my crush. Thankfully I had switched to vulpix before he reached me. He started telling me about how he used to play sapphire and what Pokemon he used to beat the Elite Four. I nodded my head (I was still listening don't worry. I'm not that rude) and continued to battle the Pokemon on the screen. He then started telling everyone that I was playing Pokemon, so, a gaggle of robotics members came over and started discussing Pokemon and watching me play my game. Then Mackenzie turned his attention back to me.
"Is this your first playthrough?" he asked. I told him yes, which was kinda a bad idea.
"Aww! Congratulations!" he squealed, pinching my cheeks. Then, he patted my head and him and Jack shook my hands.
So, yeah. Best party ever!!!!!

Not the Kids!!!!

Today is a very VERY sad day. Today, 27 people were killed in an elementary school in Connecticut. 7 of them were adults, the rest were children. Whoever did this must have been sick and we need to forgive them because they don't exactly always think because of their illness(es). We also mustn't forget the kids
For me, it is more terrifying and saddening than for some other people because I have elementary aged brothers and sisters that I love dearly. And I am so glad that the shooting was not at the elementary school that they are at.
So, I don't know about everyone else, but when I get home, I'm giving them all big hugs and kisses and making them some hot cocoa to drink while we watch a movie.

Found Nate!

I saw Nate shortly after I posted the last post. He looked very upset and tried to avoid me, but I called out his name and he smiled a very tiny, sad smile, waved, and kept on walking. I tried to find Lizzie, but she must have already left breakfast and I had to get to class anyways so I left with my heart heavy. Poor Nate... I wonder what happened. I am going to have to find out I guess.
It's been over a week and Nate still hasn't got my iPod to me yet. I asked him about it yesterday and he said he had like 500 songs to download onto it. Yeah...
Also, speaking of Nate, my friend Lizzie is going to ask him if he likes me to save me from a very, very, very loooong period of heartbreak. And if he does like me... Well, let's just say there's a dance coming up in February that I am going to ask about in advance (January maybe) so that nothing happens like last year with homecoming where I asked Daniel too late and he already had a date. So wish me luck!

In love with a creeper and a creeper in love

OK so, I haven't been on in forever but there's a lot that has happened. So here's the update:
After the craft fair Nate kept scaring me a lot more before he died down then stopped altogether. Within that period of time I started liking him and it quickly escalated into the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I am now totally and completely lovesick. I have random laughing fits, I write the best poems when everything I wrote used to suck, and I've cried over the guy twice. Yeah, it's really bad. But hey, I'm getting daily hugs, learning the card game magic, and he's even downloading some of his songs onto my iPod. I'm perfectly and completely happy.
But then there's this other guy named Garrison in my Government class. He's super nice, funny, and friends with my friend Megan and me. But he can be kinda creepy sometimes. Like a week ago he held my hand in class. Today, he rubbed my elbow and knee, and put his arm around me saying, "If I had to choose a girlfriend I wouldn't get one because I want to be with someone I love you know? I can't just get one because I want one or something. Well, I mean not that I wouldn't choose you - I mean..." Yeah. He's a creeper, not really a keeper.
Well, that's all I really had. TTYL! Love ya guys.

Picking on the New Kid?

(Sorry this is so late guys. This one is for Saturday, Oct. 6)

It was a cold day outside, but warm and cozy inside the school. It was Saturday and the craft fair was happening. The robotics club was doing concessions, I was prepared to help: I had the motivation (from who knows where) to work, the best people in the world around me, and pink lemonade cookies. That were nasty.
I was assigned to help with the breakfast/lunch cart and to go around with another team member and gather orders for food. Everything went smoothly and then the orders started dying down. For awhile we didn't have any orders coming in and we were allowed a small break. Which gave another team member enough time to do what he had to do.
His friend, Gabriel, left to go help with the snack booth leaving me, the team member - whose name is Nate, and a couple of others (such as Mackenzie and this other one named Jack) behind-the-scenes. Not good. Nate came over to the cooler, which was near me and the cart, for some pieces of ice to pop into his mouth. He had leftover water droplets on his fingers, so he turned to look at me and then flicked the water in my face.
"Thanks..." I said.
"You're welcome," he replied.
I thought to myself, Jerk! You can't just come up to me and do that. I'm not your buddy-buddy that will just let a "joke" like that go. But I didn't say it out loud. And I'm glad I didn't, because what happened next wouldn't have happened I don't think.
One of the robotics leaders asked who was still behind-the-scenes waiting to help. Nate decided he was the one to answer the question.
"....... and that girl over there," he said, pointing at me. I was offended.
"Ha! Um, "this girl" has a name, thank you very much," I snapped.
"Okay." He turned around and restated his answer. "That girl with a name." I glared at him and he chuckled. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. What's your name again?"
"Ellen," I stated firmly, finally starting to relax. Then, I cocked my head at him with confusion. "Wait. Nate, how do I know your name, but you don't know mine?"
He looked at me and shrugged. "You don't talk that much." That was too true and changing TODAY. At the craft fair.
"True," I mumbled, realizing that he had won that one. I finally let him go after that, but it wasn't really the end of it.
More incidents happened such as what started out as a fake punch to my face ended up being a high five. And my favorite:
I finally decided to tell Jack that Nate was picking on me too much and that he should find Gabriel to solve the problem. He asked me what was happening and I told him everything that he had done up to that point. He decided that the best approach was to tell me what was really going on.
"AWWW! He likes you!" he proclaimed. My face must have had a dumbfounded look or something because all of a sudden he just burst out laughing. I, thinking it was a funny and awkward moment started laughing, too.
"That was sooo awkward! Don't ever say that again," I laughed. Then, when him and I started to walk away...
"BOO!" I jumped like five feet in the air before whirling around to face my opponent. Low and behold who should be right behind me, but Nate. He just flashed that same old smile and laughed.
"I'm surprised you didn't realize the first time."
"What?" I said confused.
"I stood there for a long time going boo. boo. booo? Then you started walking away, so I came up behind you and went BOO!" he replied.
Then fear struck. Wait! How long had he been standing there? How much did he hear? I was screwed if he knew anything. He didn't show any sign of knowing anything though so I just shook my head and walked away.
Well, this story is getting really long so I'll wrap it up quick here. He ended up taking my cookies (he said they tasted like strawberries instead of pink lemonade-whatever) and leaving.
So did he initiate me into robotics or does he like me? Don't know I just don't know.

A Moment of Awkward Bliss

So on Wednesday, my best friend Lindsey was getting ready to perform a makeover on me. It wasn't a lot, just some make-up like eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss. Like I said, not a lot. But at the time my moment of bliss happened, we hadn't gotten any make-up out of the travel bag. We hadn't even reached our destination point. And just to be exact, we were in the hallway during the end of school rush. Here's what happened:
I was right by Lindsey's side while walking in the hallway. Doing nothing except trying to get outside. Then I see Mackenzie walking towards us and I think, Oh crap, what do I do? Say hi? Say nothing? Duck my head? Of course, as usually happens with this kid (for whatever unexplainable reason), I didn't have time to act on any of those. I was totally surprised at what happened next.
As we walked by each other, he smiled at me and said,
   "Hi, Ellen."
I blinked in astonishment, but before he walked away I replied, "Oh, hey!"
Lindsey didn't really notice anything, but I told her about my crush (not this particular incident) later on during the makeover.
So now, I guess I'm just confused and wondering, what do you do when you like someone, but you don't want to sabotage their relationship they have right now? Is that okay to wonder? Is it even okay to like someone who is already in a relationship? I don't know, you guys tell me...

Whoa! He talked to me?

Just a few minutes ago, something really crazy happened! Let me explain it to you.
As you all may know by now, I have a fettish for My Little Pony. Also, my favorite pony is Twilight Sparkle. Well... I was playing a my little pony game and happily enjoying myself. Then, as he was leaving, Mackenzie caught me red-handed and came over to explore this "new pony friend." I didn't notice he caught me until I felt someone behind me. I turned around and Voila! Mackenzie's there!! I looked up at him curiously.
"Who's your favorite pony?" he asked.
  "Twilight Sparkle."
  "Gah!" he sighed.
  "Who's yours?"
  "Fluttershy," he cooed.
"Aww, she was my very first pony when I was little." I forget what he said after I said this. But then I said, "Oh, I don't have mine any more since I moved out of my mom's house."
"Ohh, I'm sorry." he replied. Then he left. And yeah that was our convo! So, unexpected and weird, but hey I talked to him comfortably and it had nothing to do with an assignment either! I'm awesome! This article and conversation were definitely

 (period)

"Lost" Feelings Found

Ok so, I found out who Billy is. Don't know him that well. Thanks, Blake, for the idea. Not exactly interested. So, Billy is out of the way.
Ray... getting a little better at talking to him. Had a weird dream, though. Nothing bad, no kidnappings, just randomness. (I sat with his table at lunch, ate a frosted sugar cookie, laughed at inside jokes, and he helped me plan a revengeful practical joke on someone.) Anyways, that plan is going good.
Mackenzie... Mackenzie, Mackenzie, Mackenzie... What to do with a brony who still has your heart. Yeah, you read that right. It's just all of him: his funniness, his hottness (though others argue that), and the fact that we share something in common. The only thing is his girlyfriend. Actually, I'm gonna start using the word girf (from iCarly) in just random situations. This is for anybody, even me. It is not meant to hurt anybody's feelings.
Back to my hurting heart. I don't really know anything except that it hurts me everytime I see him.
Well, that's all. See ya next time.

It's A Miracle! (And who's Billy?!!!!)

Okay, so a little about Ray... He's funny. Kind of cute. Obviously smart if he's in robotics. And he's a friend of Mackenzie's. Yeah... Maybe he's better? Oh well, I'll find out soon, I guess. At least I can talk to him. It's a miracle. A crush I can actually talk to (who wasn't already one of my best friends)!!!!
The only problem I have now is that Blake (After a scary glare at Mackenzie) is now plotting to set me up with some guy named Billy. Who's Billy? Your guess is as good as mine! If you have any knowledge of this young man please say so, but until then, you might see only snippets of me on this blog as I tell you clues and facts to my new detective case. Excited! Kind of...

Crushes, Robotics, and My Little Pony

Ok. Sorry, I haven't been on in a little while, but things have been crazy the past year.
Anyways, an update on crushes. At the end of my ninth grade year, I wrote a note to this one guy I liked named Mackenzie. The idea of the note was thought up by me and a few friends: Megan, Blu, and Blake. I delivered the note successfully, but I never got an answer. I felt dumb. Well, summer passed on and then school started again. I thought I would never see Mackenzie again (which was good considering the circumstances of last year). I thought totally, and completely utterly wrong. He shares both of my frickin lunches!!!!!!! I thought I was gonna be dead. But I wasn't, even though he still remembered me from last year! One point for me!
Well, a couple weeks passed and I ended up joining the robotics team. And then weird things started happening. In fact they happened just this past week. Here's what happened:
I was helping my friend Addis write an essay in robotics club when we overheard the conversation between my crush and this one girl who is his girlfriend (although I did not know this at that moment). It went a little something like this: "Yeah and they heard this snipping sound and they found out it was the rabbit cutting pieces of the rope for all of them." "Aww. That's so cute." Addis looked at me with a scared look on his face. I just shrugged. I was used to weird comments like that considering the fact that youtube plays a big role in society nowadays. But I wasn't prepared, well both of us weren't, for what Mackenzie did next. He pulled a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic pony doll out of his backpack and set on the computer desk in front of him. WHAT THE....?! My heart sank as I stared on at the little doll. No...it couldn't be. Then he pulled out a human hairbrush for the doll. Oh. My. Gosh. It was true. He was... A FREAKIN' BRONY?????!!!! Seriously. Why am I so attracted to people like this? I mean I like My Little Pony, but I'm a girl!
Needless to say, he is not my crush anymore and I like another guy in my robotics club who is a senior named Raymond. I hope this works...
